Bought this for a visually impaired family member. It only announces the number, not name. Only real drawback. Decent price. Has worked without incident for about 4 months. Very happy with this product.
5 Stars Best Caller ID on the market
The Caller ID Voice Announce is a great product. The caller’s number is annouced verbally once the phone starts ringing so you no longer need to get up to go to the caller id box or search for the phone. You don’t even have to be in the same room as the caller ID as the voice can be heard very easily from great distances. If you want to answer the call, that’s the only time you need to get to the phone. I love this product.

Product offers the services the description claims. Small size electronic equipment, but it is loud enough to be hear throughout the entire house. I am please with it, but I wish it would have the name announcement as well as the phone number as I do not always remember people’s phone numbers.
Certainly a good buy for the price.

THIS IS A GREAT INEXPENSIVE DEVICE THAT INSTALLS IN JUST SECONDS. HAS “OFF” AND 3 OTHER VOLUME LEVELS. I LOVE BEING ABLE TO “HEAR” WHO IS CALLING BEFORE I ANSWER. I HAVE A “NOVELTY” PHONE THAT HAS “NO CALLER ID DISPLAY” … THIS DEVICE TOOK CARE OF THAT PROBLEM. I HAVE MINE ON “HIGHEST VOLUME SETTING” SO I CAN HERE IT EVERY WHERE IN A 30 FOOT RADIUS.

5 Stars Solid and Reliable
This is a great solution to plain caller id. I am so used to hearing who is calling that when I visit friends homes and the phone rings, I find myself listening for the VA500 to announce who it is.
